It’s cold
Even though these are ‘normal’ temperatures for this time of year (42 right now), I’m already missing our days of 60-70 degree weather we had in October. Frankly, I do not want to experience last school year’s winter that consisted of a major blizzard, and several weeks of single digit temperatures. I do not want to walk across the street to class and wonder if I still have testicles because it’s so goddamn cold.
This causes me to ask the question, “What can I do to fix this?” Simple. Drive. Do your part and help turn this into the warmest winter in history. Global warming is finally starting to gain momentum and you can do the right thing to help me stay warm and comfortable this winter. Go do the douche-baggery thing and buy a Hummer… drive it to class even though you live 3 blocks away… or just buy a bunch of aerosol cans and spray them into the air. You CAN make a difference.
I say all of this when my dad is currently at a global ‘green committee’ meeting with Bill Clinton. Mmmmm that’s sweet irony.
